BRAGGING NEWS:  My nephew,  Aaron Lovett who is an incredible artist just won the design challenege featuring the caped crusader you see below for the Denver Comic Ccon & Breckenridge Brewery!!!!brews-wayne

Last year “The Caped Brewsader” made its debut. Now its Batman-esque counterpart, “Brews Wayne” is making an appearance.

Continuing its annual tradition, the Denver Comic Con once again teamed up with Breckenridge Brewery to create a craft beer for the three-day convention, which runs June 13-15 at the Colorado Convention Center.

The winning name won an online vote and was selected from more than 1,000 entries.

Josh Viola — a Colorado-based author, artist and video-game developer — and comic book artist Aaron Lovett created the art for the pint glass and tap handle.

Foothills Fall Festival


We just had another fantastic Festival - three days of fun, music and art.....we average about 20-25,000 guests come to enjoy downtown Maryville.  Spread over 14 acres downtown, ArtWay, Craft Demonstrations, Kids Adventure Land, Antique Tractors and Concert stages we have always ranked in the top 10 festivals in the US. (my guess is at least 1,000 of those guests stepped on my toes during the festival.)  I am proud of my artist demonstrators and the Tractor guys who proudly parade and let kids of all ages climb all over them for a photo.  Most popular question:  where are the bathrooms?
